Concept.
As part of a major project for the UH Tech Bridge building, I designed a series of wall decal concepts for UH Energy with the goal of capturing the attention of students and visitors passing by. The vision was to create a bold, visually engaging design that reflected UH Energy’s mission while enhancing the atmosphere of the space. I developed five unique layout options, each exploring different visual narratives and design elements. This project required extensive collaboration, involving regular team meetings, feedback sessions, and rounds of revisions to align with the branding standards and the expectations of multiple stakeholders. The process not only refined my skills in environmental and large-scale print design but also strengthened my ability to communicate effectively within a team and adapt to evolving creative direction.
Outcome.
The final design was installed at the UH Tech Bridge building, and seeing it come to life was incredibly rewarding. It turned the space into something more vibrant and engaging, catching the attention of students walking by—just like we had hoped. The positive feedback from the team and others on campus made all the collaboration and revisions worth it. It was a great reminder of how design can truly transform a space and connect with people.

Concept.
For Energy Day, I developed a T-shirt design that reflected the event’s focus on innovation and sustainability. I explored eight unique layout concepts, each with variations in composition, color, and typography to ensure a dynamic and engaging final design. The goal was to create a wearable piece that not only represented the Energy Day brand but also sparked excitement and connection among participants.
Outcome.
The final design featured a vibrant red base with the Energy Day text placed at the bottom, while a dynamic circular arrangement of energy-themed symbols revolved around the center—creating a bold and engaging visual. A logo was also placed on the sleeve for subtle yet effective branding. To bring the concept to life, I created a detailed mockup showcasing how the design would look when worn. The final piece received positive feedback for its creativity, energy, and strong visual impact.
